Any positives to feeding raw for dogs? I’ve got a very fussy maltipoo and the groomer just suggested it would be beneficial to her health, at this point I’ll try anything she’s that fussy 😩 DogThreads

Follow @rawfeederlife on insta, there’s probably a couple of others, can’t remember them off the top of my head. In a nutshell for me, kibble is highly processed with any nutrient’s having to be added as the manufacturing processes destroys any nutrients. Depending on where you are in the world and whether you go for pre made raw or do it yourself, in the UK the requirements are really strict when it comes to raw pet food providers, quality is variable depending on the brand.

My elderly dog began having digestive and allergy issues. She was being fed canned. I switched to raw and she showed a vast improvement. To make things more nutritionally balanced I then fed fresh raw rolls. She did great.

I have fed all my dogs raw food up to a point they can’t handle it at an older age. Shiny coat, more energy, less health issues… In my opinion, only way to go. Lightly cooked is also good… Never kibble

There’s nothing magic about raw. I do like fresh whole cooked food. There are great commercial options. My favorites and wynwood and just food for dogs
