(I read this somewhere but I’ll share) A year, for example, feels really long when you’re young because it genuinely takes up a lot of life %. When you turn 5, one year is 20% of your life. But as you get older, that % decreases because a year is only a small part of your life now, so even though it’s the same time wise, it feels shorter % wise. I hope I made sense.
