A question for ♿️ wheelchair users: do you find compliant ramps in the US or Canada to be overly steep? The reason I am asking is that in these countries, the maximum slope for a ramp is 1:12, which is likely just a convenience for feet and inches, whereas in Australia the maximum slope is 1:14, which relates to nothing and has therefore probably come about by testing. The difference in length between ramps of these slopes is significant. Just curious.
