Are you sure this isn’t a device/browser thing? Mine doesn’t autocorrect in the pattern search. It just suggests “did you mean…” with a link to search for that instead if what I enter is typoed but close to a pattern name, but it still displays the search results for what I did type, typos and all.

I’m not gonna say it couldn’t be. Tech is not my thing but what you described only happens for me when it’s super intuitive and then it’s alwaysssss wrong.
