Marvelous Mexico is over and these are some of the snippets of work that the campers made over two weeks. I taught dry media, leaning into my drawing strengths and guided students in making sugar skull-inspired pet portraits, inventive food trucks, still lives of Mexican ingredients, and masks inspired by the pre-Hispanic Tecaun. One more week to go - 1980s is up next. Before I get back to the classroom I’m heading into the mountains with my son for a much-needed respite. arteducation
