Grocery Store review. # 1. X Market. Located in Uptown. Too far for me. Pro : Folks say the food court. I didn't partake. Went for dairy free products. They had Tofutti products 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 They had the ricotta I've been look for (side eye Jewel's). Con: At checkout, was asked for a tip. 🤔😤 Who tips at a GROCERY STORE. Seven aisles of vegan stuff that mostly can be found at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and co-ops. Overpriced (when the price was displayed). 1/2

Even then to travel about an hour by train or 50 mins by bike will make me rethink cooking any dish with ricotta. Need to encourage more local stores to invest in vegan products. Bonus point : found white chocolate chips by Enjoy Life Foods 🎉🎉🎉. Bit pricey so I passed. Ended up finding them at Whole Foods (1 N Halsted) much cheaper.
