You see a lot of people who want to lose weight FAST! “I need to lose 20 lbs in a month.” “I need to lose 50 lbs by the end of the year.” While these feats can be accomplished, we need to spread the message of proper rates of fat loss. 0.5 lbs to 1.0 lb of scale weight lost per week is a great pace. It sounds slow to many but do you want to keep it off? Because sustainable weight loss through dietary habits is not rapid. Rapid is, “I’ll gain all this weight back and more.”
