Very pleased to hear this news. I live right next to City Airport & submitted a lengthy comment about why the expansion of the airport was essential. It is the only airport you can cycle or walk to, the planes are small and connect with large European hub airports, it's in Newham: one of the most deprived councils in the UK, and we need the jobs and economic growth. As far as I know mine was one of the few supportive comments from residents and certainly the most detailed. YIMBY.
