If you hire someone to pitch you as a podcast guest, require them to give you a list of which podcasts they plan to pitch - and why you are a perfect fit. Otherwise you may be throwing your money down the drain. (Yesterday I got a request for a doctor in AZ to be on my Course Creators HQ podcast... he doesn't have a course... it was a complete waste of his money and my time. Don't pay someone for this!!) End of rant. I feel better now - and hopefully it saves someone wasted money! 😂

Their expertise has nothing to do with either of the podcasts I host. I’m not sure where the disconnect on all this begins. I have to believe it’s mostly VAs who aren’t thinking about podcasts from both sides. They just want to get a booking so they can hit a quota, nothing more, nothing less.

(Which is way different that what you are an expert about) and 2. How will you spread the word about my podcast after you are a guest? Super simple. I have yet to ever receive this.
