Saturday, August 17: Was able to rack up another 18 miles on the upper Colorado River from Palisade (Palisade Rim) to Grand Junction (Blue Heron/Redlands). A not so fun portage of the lower diversion dam below the put in, some fun wave trains, and a back scratcher of strainer that tried to snag me. Now I have Palisade to Mexico done. (no photos because my phone crapped out on me)
