I’ve designed 5 patterns now and I’m still figuring it out. I just came up with an idea and started to try crocheting it. It helped to look for patterns who had some details i wanted in my design too so i could see how they had done that. It also helped to draw my vision. Hope this helps 😊

Best advice I can give is just jump right in and try! You're going to need practice and it helps you expand your crochet knowledge! It's intimidating, but you don't even have to post all the ones you do! I haven't posted any yet, but writing patterns has helped me so much in making things my own and how helped me get better at the craft. So yeah, just try! Dive in head first and see what happens!
