Back then, we always valued truth. Our perspective was influenced by it and our search for answers was really nothing more than an attempt to grasp it. 'What does it mean?' just meant 'what really happened?' Things were binary because that's how right and wrong works and it was okay. Better than okay - it worked: there was a Right Thing and there was a Wrong Thing and that gave us answers. (1/3)

幾秒內	Jeremy Drysdale thejeremydrysdale	And then that suddenly changed and 'truth' became 'our truth', which subtly distorted 'the right answer' into 'what I want the right answer to be' and that was the moment that perspective eclipsed rightness and it quickly became the way things were done because it made everyone right. Suddenly their truth was what had really happened, what was real, because although that's patently absurd as a concept no-one could question it any more. It was valid simply because it was 'honest'.
