Whenever I tap something on my phone or any other touchscreen and it doesn’t respond, I have this brief flashback to the episode of The Simpsons when Bart sold his soul and then the automatic doors at the Kwik e Mart wouldn’t open for him. And for even the briefest of moments, I worry someone took my soul without me knowing.
