regressing a movement during a workout doesn’t mean your fitness is regressing
in fact I could argue the opposite:
knowing when, and HOW, to adapt movements to fit your body as it shows up while training demonstrates something more valuable than gains (IMHO):
fitness acumen and intuition, and the ability to coach yourself
p.s. using the term “adapting” instead “regressing” can help you use this reframe :)
