Seeing a bunch of people on here saying that they don't like country music, but they're intrigued by this Jason Isbell fellow. Thoughts: 1. Isbell is indeed a wonderful songwriter and performer. 2. Genre labels are squishy, but he's not really a country musician in either a traditional or contemporary sense. More like Neil Young or Dylan. This style is now called "Americana," but it used to be called folk-rock or just rock. 3. There's tons of great country music today! It's not on the radio.
