Venerable Zosima of Tuman, one of the Sinaite monks, from the group of hesychasts, disciples of Saint Gregory the Sinaite, depicted on a driftwood board from the shore of Mount Athos. An icon inspired by ancient epoch of iconography, with transformed and reduced stylization and monastic simplicity. Hesychasm represents the mystical Path of our holy fathers through noetic prayer of the heart and the ascent of the human spirit towards the uncreated Light of the Transfiguration of Christ.
