That’s… not how anything works. There are less viruses made for MacOS because it’s a smaller userbase. There *are* viruses for it. Windows computers are more susceptible to viruses because most viruses are programmed for Windows. However, you will *not* get a virus “as soon as you connect it to the Internet”. If you’re using a modern secure browser any virus you catch will be from something you, the user, have done (for the most part).
