My daughter has AuDHD (PDA), and waiting to be seen by the CFS/ME team. She missed a lot of school due to exhaustion, and would sleep for hours after, plus 12 hrs+ at night. At 18, she has just finished school. Yesterday she said ‘since I got my results [last week] and have left school I feel like I can breathe again. I am not needing to sleep all the time any more’. (It was a specialist ASD school but it didn’t really cope with her PDA.) That’s good but I wish she hadn’t had to go through that.
