I encounter sad people who run to the fringes of the world. People who are missing something and will never find it. I find local people I can help, for my own pride of course, me a tourist in their lives, and for now I’m able to do so without overstaying my welcome. Money is no longer an issue, but maybe it never was with all my privileges, seen and unseen. Keep busy and keep an open heart and your life’s work will find you. If winds are favorable and artillery shells don’t hit too close.
