Todays rooting update: WE HAVE ROOTS AND STALKS! I put the sweet potato slips in water 2 days ago, and the onion about 2 weeks. As of last sun, the onion only had roots. How long can I keep my potato slips in water? Do I HAVE to plant them at some point? I want to keep some as just a house vine.. I added more water to the potatoes this morning to encourage more roots growing up the length.. apartmentgardening
