This morning, I think I figured it out. While I will always wish and wonder what if, I also realize I had this feeling of “what a waste.” What a heap of wasted effort, from her, from us who voted and made signs and talked until we were blue in the face to get her elected and this big dummy swooped in with his meanness and stupidity and conniving and pulled the rug out from under us all and made all the work mean nothing. The injustice felt palpable.

Excellent analysis, and a great lesson. I'm a Poli Sci major and follow politics like a sport, and I was disheartened by how disengaged so many Americans were, and still are. Hillary's loss got people involved, made them realize that elections matter. That was a steep price, so it's up to us to make it worth it.
