It blows my mind how we’ve become to transactional and superficial due to minimal effort and instant gratification. No one wants to put an effort into carrying a conversation or small talk to get to know someone because of the fear of things not panning out and (rightfully cautious) becoming vulnerable putting their feelings and emotions on display. We’ve become so jaded based on interactions because we all gravitate to the shiniest objects who get the most attention but have the least loyalty
