Confession: my sister and I were terrified of a couple of lambs that came up to us and butted us as we went to the farm to get milk. I summoned up all the courage a 9 year old could muster and told my little sister not to worry, they were obviously crossbred! (No, I did not understand the term crossbred!). Luckily the farmer came along, gave us a lift on his tractor and explained that they were hand rearedlambs being friendly.

Absolutely ove this 💜 I live close to the Hereford border and have almost all of these in my garden, except Hornbeam, Sycamore and (thankfully!) Bracken. I'm wasn't sure about Milkmaid, but I think its Cuckoo Flower/Lady's Smock? 🌸
