I swear I’ve cleaned the windows inside my car three different times and I think it’s fine. I’m driving and the sun hits inside of the car a certain way and I can’t see s&$t. I’ve used microfiber towels and windex. Any ideas?

I had this problem, too. Now I just use a very clean chamois cloth that is dampened with plain water but you have to really give it a good rub. Leaves zero residue or fibres/dust.

Just hit YouTube with "clean interior windshield". You get not just professional (in some cases) advice on methods but reasons why regular glass cleaner doesn't work. I have taken to Mr Clean Magic Eraser.

If you can, wash them when the sun is shining in the same way. Then you can see if it’s working. Looks better in my car when I wash in carport. And then is nasty when I pull out into sun.

There are certain glass strippers you can use if you REALLY want to make sure you get everything off. I believe Rain-X makes one specifically. Just be careful not to damage any interior tenting film. Also important to use one cloth for the cleaning process, and another cloth/towel for drying and polishing. Think of it like doing dishes - you wouldn’t use one cloth for both parts! Good luck :)

I’ve gotten so many great ideas. Thank you everyone so much!! I really didn’t think I’d get any responses. I’ve got a Walmart run to make.
