Why am I against aversive tools? Because these tools only work by suppressing the behaviours you don't want. This doesn't solve the problem you're seeing. No other animal is trained with a prong or shock collar (don't at me that ecollars aren't shock collars, they are), so why is it the norm to use these tools on dogs? If you advocate for the use of these tools, you are trying to justify using abusive methods that are banned in multiple countries instead of using humane training methods.
