Not too much with my business personally, but definitely other cafes ive worked at. Sometimes those very oddly specific bans, are for very specific strange things people have done, they got away with it once and then they make a habitual habit of doing it. We had a lady who never wanted to pay for a full 16 oz latte and would bring her own cup that was clearly way larger than 16 oz and would stand at the bar and complain and ask for mods after sipping her coffee repeatedly. 1/2

I wouldn't be surprised if it were the last shop I worked at. The owner was incredibly insecure and her biggest competition (in her mind) was located about 30 minutes away.

Coffe shop owner here- not in the FB group. We are right on a bike trail and get tons of cycling traffic. They come in giant groups and use our bathrooms and fill up their water bottles. But they are also a very generous community. Many buy our merch and about 70% who come in get a fresh baked good and coffee. No prob with bottles being filled for free.
