Heard my first Metallica song in English class in grade 8. The teacher allowed students to bring in a cassette once a week and the class would listen to the tape, front and back with no interference or interruption- the cassette was Ride The Lightning. It took me a few moths to break out of the current Miami Vice look my mother had me dressed in to find ripped jeans, tshirt, a jean jacket and start growing my hair out. The rest is heavy metal history!!🤘🤘
