Watching Olympic swimming...why is there anything other than freestyle? Once they discovered the front crawl was fastest who decided to still do the butterfly? What other sport has "slower" races? 100m running backwards? Long jump hopping on only one leg? Why swimming, why?

7 小時內	Mal Sharman malksharman	Weightlifting has two styles for the one medal event. Snatch is a very different technique and requires different skills to the clean and jerk. Snatch also never lifts as much weight. It’s in most sports really, just maybe not as clear as with swimming.
