A man had a dream where he walked along the beach with God, seeing two sets of footprints in the sand, representing his and God's. At times, only one set appeared, particularly during the lowest moments of his life. He questioned God about this, feeling abandoned. God replied, "During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." In our hardest times, God carries us through.
