Sometimes it seems like we have some tunnel vision here. I fight it myself sometimes. But I try to remember from my college days 50 years ago, in the NYC area. I was certain the radio station I listened to was also the favorite of basically everyone else. Then I saw a ratings story and found that my ‘everyone else’ was about … five percent. I try to keep that in mind now when I’m too tempted to hop a bandwagon … excitement is fine but reality can still bite.
