Back in high school, if you didn’t have your ID card you had one of two choices 1. Get a temp one and be penalized or 2. BUY a new one for like $5. They would know if you didn’t have your ID because they checked every morning. Ever since I graduated, I have NEVER gotten in trouble for not having my ID (nobody even checked to see if I had it) and even if I didn’t have it. I NEVER had to PAY for a new one. School really just said “Pay up or suffer the consequences”
