Grammar tip for speaking and writing.
Every time you’re putting yourself and another person in a sentence together and wonder whether to use “I” or “me” or “my” or “mine”, remove the other person from the sentence altogether.
I’ll do Jamie and I’s chores.
I’ll do I’s chores.
I’ll do Jamie’s and my chores.
I’ll do my chores.
Jamie and me went to the store.
Me went to the store.
Jamie and I went to the store.
I went to the store.
