Fitness peeps: so I cycle my emphasis every quarter, adjusting my caloric intake strategically. (Eg Eating in slight surplus when working on hypertrophy). From October to December is my caloric surplus face, Jan- April will be caloric maintenance. I’m coming off a power emphasis currently. My question is should I do strength focus for the holidays or hypertrophy, keeping in mind I’ve been doing Olympic lifts for the previous quarter. My gut says hypertrophy…what do you think?
