I’ve been in Spain for two weeks and it’s making me wonder if we’re all soft because we need air conditioning while no one else here does. How do you all do it?! 😆 🥵

We use AC in Spain (lived here 18 years). It’s getting hotter in the south than ever before so we started using it 4 years ago.

I live in Tenerife, traditionally built homes with 3ft deep walls and small windows keep homes cool in the summer, and fireplaces keep them warm in the winter. Modern buildings definitely need air conditioning or at the very least a couple of dehumiders 🙄🤷🏻♀️.

Very simple reason... Not everyone has money for comfort... It's not only about AC but heaters as well... Installation, usage, maintenance: all cost money. It's applicable to public services(buses, trains, malls) and regular people...
