This is neither a bad date story, nor a good one…just a date that made me go “hmm.” 🤔 I met a cute Quantum Physicist from Belfast on Bumble and, after a brief online chat, we arranged to meet up for an aprés ski date at my local mountain. He was fun to talk to, though he didn’t laugh at my jokes. (When he said he worked for Microsoft, I said “Never heard of it. Is it a small start-up?” 😂 He stared at me blankly.) So after that first date, I wasn’t sure if I’d see him again. (1/10) ⬇️

And I know I can be hard to read sometimes. One day, as a forecasted snowstorm was approaching, he mentioned he would be staying alone in his ski lease because the rest of his housemates couldn’t get over the mountain pass.
