Some things I love about the current era in gymnastics: I like that women with different body types are seen at the Olympics now, instead of the once-common belief that REAL gymnasts need to be rail-thin waifs. I love seeing older women perform, so that young female gymnasts won’t be led to believe that they’ll be washed-up has-beens by the time they’re 22! I also love seeing gymnasts from other countries congratulating each other, something I don’t remember seeing before at the Olympics!
