For me Star Wars has always been about rebellion

Yeah Andor is the top live action Star Wars show for me. Not everyone in the Star Wars universe wields the Force. Sometimes there are just normal people (or aliens) that have their boots on the ground. It’s got great writing, character development, sets, action, and more. It’s great. The greatest actually.

Prior to watching Andor—I loved the Obi Wan show (though I also knew its imperfections.) But then I watched Andor and it made me more upset that Obi Wan could have had the same level of writing—but it didn't, and it should have. And it made me sad. So, in short—Andor is great, probably some of the best writing in recent years of the franchise. (Still love Obi Wan cause Ewan Mcgregor is everything)

It’s a fantastic sci fi, brilliantly written & acted. It’s not really like any other #starwars movie or show. It’s about how the empire works, how it grows, its functionaries & the intrigue within. It’s actually genius.

It’s the most Star Wars Star Wars since Star Wars.

The story of Andor doesn’t exclude Space Wizards or the Force. It is a story during a dark time when the Jedi are nearly extinct. But one gets the feeling, watching the roots of rebellion take hold with normal people, that the Force is still at work in the background. The magic is still woven into the story. The Force uses Andor to accomplish things on behalf of the light whether he knows it or not. You should watch it.

Its substantially good on multiple levels, the Star Wars connection is the least worthwhile part but is woven perfectly into the original trilogy for me. I rank it the third best Star Wars ever. I love ROTJ but this out ranks that with number one being empire and two being new hope.

I mean the short answer is that the space wizards joined a rebellion that was already in progress and would not have defeated the empire without the work of everyone else, and andor is telling the story of everyone else building the rebellion that the space wizards later joined

Andor is a great drama for adults that usually only engage with stuff involving space wizards and laser swords.

Andor was absolutely awful.
