It’s not super important to me but I usually like to ask if it’s an option because I like to have close friends or family share in the occasion and also use it as an opportunity to spend time with them.

We are a duo, so thankfully always invited together unless it’s a female specific event and then I don’t mind going alone if I believe the experience/connection will be worth the social anxiety 😬
