I’m starting to see how the parents of the Rugrats allowed the babies to get into so much mischief. When the kids are being quiet in the other room I don’t care what they’re doing so long as they’re not screaming, or breaking things. Do I sometimes come into the room to find my toddler on the dining room table, or my 5 year old holding him down with her legs so they can snuggle against his will? Yes, yes I do. Does it afford me a little time to myself and save my sanity? Yes, yes it does.
