This summer 338 students interned across @laschools sponsored by the CTE-Linked Learning department. Summer interns assigned to LAUSD headquarters took part in one final training in which they were tasked with learning the technicalities and particular skills of making elevator pitches. A member of our staff pretended to be the Superintendent while students joined to make their pitches. Students receiving the highest ratings won gift cards, but all were treated to a pizza party.
