People in the Bible had faith, worshipped and lived right before God, and some were still poor, had no children, were single, had bad marriages and faced persecution. It is spiritually irresponsible to preach that doing any of these will guarantee a job, spouse, child and so on. This is nothing more than a repurposed version of prosperity preaching. Such has become a drug for congregants in need of a weekly hit. We don’t need pushers, we need preachers.
