Super dirty confession: At 16 or 17, I found a hella overdue library book in my truck under the passenger seat. Being a super broke teenager, I returned it and went on the lam, moved out of the library district for a few years, and returned to town feeling like a hardened criminal. Didn't return to the library until I found out they waved overdue fees like five years later 😂 Anyway, if I ever use this as a villain origin story in a plot, let's all pretend it's not based on true events. 🙏
