I'm also interested in spoken word over original music for two reasons: 1) I got tired of the constraints that melody imposes on lyrics; 2) I haven't found a way to fully embrace my singing voice. Is anyone working in a similar space, or do you know any standout examples of this artform? 'Melencolia & I' by Vold Book is an example of what I'm doing these days.
