I was in Target this morning and could hear a grandmother buying her young granddaughter school clothes. She must’ve asked the little girl at least 5 times: “are you sure you want that Hello Kitty sweatershirt, with the hoodie? Don’t you think it looks silly?” “You don’t think the Hello Kitty is silly looking” “That Hello Kitty one looks silly.” That little girl might make core memories with that “silly” hoodie. It might make her feel happy on the scary 1st day of school -continued in comments
