I remember, in maybe year 9 at secondary school, my friend needing to change her tampon in maths class. The male teacher wouldn't let her go to the toilet. We used to put the tampon up our sleeve if we were going to change it in lesson time (no pockets and we weren't allowed to carry bags in lesson times - idk it was the 90s). She asked again he said no. 1/2

I used mine the 2nd week of school. Well. I had to go baaaaaadddd during her read aloud time- and her rule was to not interrupt. I ended up peeing in my chair and then leaving as soon as I could to walk home. Told my parents, who complained to the teacher…who then had an open door policy for the bathroom from then on. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My co-leader said we weren’t quite to the scheduled stop, so she would have to wait. The girl yelled ‘if we don’t stop now, I’m going to bleed all over the seat!’ I will always remember that moment, and respect the hell out of that girl to this day. 😍
