What is urban fantasy? Years ago, I thought it meant any fantasy set in or close to the modern world. So, everything from The Lightning Thief to Odd Thomas to The Dresden Files could be called urban fantasy. Based on some recent threads, I think I was wrong, though. How do you define it?
