The side effects of chemotherapy are many and various and hit different people differently.
When I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma six years ago, and went through six months of three-day cycles of treatment, I expected the tiredness; I expected hair loss (but didn’t have any, maybe because I lacked the hair to lose already); I expected mouth ulcers (didn’t happen); I expected the weight loss; I expected the loss of appetite; I expected my taste buds to mostly give up the ghost.
