My Way is originally a French song called "Comme d'habitude" sung and written by Claude François Frank Sinatra liked this song oozed with so much positivity about life and had it translated to English (My Way). The immense international success of Sinatra's version has given rise to hundreds of cover by big names in popular music including Paul Anka.

Fun fact : David Bowie was the first to do an English adaptation of ‘’Comme d’habitude’’ but it ultimately was never given more serious work. He largely drew inspiration from it in what would become ‘’Life On Mars?’’.
