Even if there is “ No Covid” there are other viruses you can be trying to avoid. Eastern countries have been wearing mask for years, idk why the US only thinks it’s for Covid. 🙄

You did much better than I plan to be. Hubby just had a kidney transplant and I will be masking up for the next 3-6 months, also in upstate NY. I’m just waiting for the first person to give me some “helpful unsolicited advice”. 🙄

I currently have covid, and have issues getting sick all the time. I want to start wearing a mask to generally help my health, but then there's ppl like my parents who would threaten me for wearing it. I was in an *amazing* conversation with them today while I was awaiting my results. Got to "you're voting for a socialist" "show me any facts of that" "I don't have any" "I'll find proof against that...*looks at my results* nvm, I have covid. See yall in a few days" and went up to my room.

I get that. I would have done the same. When someone is that far gone it's not worth the time or breath to say otherwise. And like you I have chosen the kindness route when pressed. That way if she ever does snap out of it she will realize that nice lady that masked in the store may have been doing so for a reason. 🧡
