I live close to a series of small ski hills that get snow for maybe 4 months a year. My grade 4 teacher used to tell us how southerners (hint hint) would show up asking where the ski hill was fully decked out to go skiing… in July. I just don’t understand.

2 天內	Stephanie B. furyanhound	My wonderful, intelligent aunt (American) once asked me how cold it was in Canada... in August. I said, "around 25 degrees or so? Sometimes warmer." She goes, "25 FARENHEIT? That's freezing!" I said, "no, celsius." Did some quick math, and said, "it's about 80 farenheit." She goes, "oh, that's a lovely temp. I thought Canada was always cold..." sigh She lived in Michigan for most of her young life (up to about 20 years old)... 🤦‍♀️
